Senior Staff Scientist
Mr. Cole received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences/Mathematics from Thomas Edison State University. Since joining SSI, Mr. Cole has received experience in vibration and movement monitoring as well as pre-blast/construction surveys. He has received formal training in conducting pre-condition surveys, seismic monitoring, crack gauge installation and monitoring through Seismic Surveys, Inc. in-house training program. Prior to joining SSI, he spent 8 years in the environmental remediation sector for private and government agencies performing sub-surface investigations, remediation system installation, soil, groundwater, and vegetation collection, sub-surface injections, Oily Waste/Wastewater management for the United States Navy, and emergency response for oil spills nationwide. Other trainings and certifications include OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER, OSHA 30 Hour Construction, OSHA 10 Hour Construction, Confined Space Operations, 38 Hour Wetland Delineation Army Core of Engineers, and Shoreline Clean-up Assessment Techniques SCAT Certification.
