Market Square Arena Implosion

Seismic Surveys, Inc. (SSI) provided pre-implosion survey and vibration and airblast monitoring program.  SSI conducted a pre-blast survey of historic City Market, the City-county building, the Indiana State Museum, and other commercial buildings surrounding the project within approximately 130 feet of the implosion. Setup and monitored 9 seismographs for the protection of adjacent buildings and sensitive computer equipment.  Analyzed vibration and airblast data and prepared a formal report of findings.  Conducted a post-implosion survey.
